Blue Project
Initially inspired by Yves Klein’s body prints, Blue Project began as a simple exploration of using the body as a tool for mark-making. Model Llawri, artist Isabella Silva, and I collaborated with the intention of creating prints in blue, echoing Klein’s iconic works. However, what started as a straightforward printing process quickly evolved into something more—a performance art piece in its own right.
Each of us held a camera, capturing the unfolding process from three distinct perspectives. The result was twofold: physical prints created through direct bodily contact with the medium and a collection of striking photographs documenting the act of making the art itself. Ultimately, these images transcended mere documentation and became the artwork.
